Queensland Showjumping wishes to extend our thoughts and deepest sympathy to the families and friends of both Harry Green and Bryce Jackson who have both passed away in recent weeks.
Harry Green of Withcott (formerly Moonie). Harry's children Catherine, John, Paul, Michael, & Harry all competed in showjumping for many years, with Catherine Graham still competing at a very high level now. Harry was a strong supporter of showjumping throughout his life.
Bryce Jackson of Rockhampton (formerly Jandowae) father to Peta Jackson. Bryce competed in showjumping and polocrosse for many years. Bryce campaigned many showumping horses some of whom were Arcadia, Shortie, Donavan, Silver & Easy Now. After Bryce stopped showjumping some of these horses went on to be campaigned by Guy Creighton and Clem Smith.
Both men will be sadly missed.

Showjumping Queensland Funding Procedure
Funding is only available and will be allocated to affiliated clubs with the EFA Q for school/clinics/events before the actual school/ clinic/ event occurs.
Applications need to include:

Schools and clinics: Club running event, club to be EFA affiliated, instructor, instructor costs, participants, participants' EFA numbers, participants to be instructed over an EFA Official height eg 1.05m and over, costs to participants, advantage of funding to EFA members.

Events: Event name, Event organiser, is event EFA affiliated, number of competitors attending, advantage of funding to EFA members.

Equipment: How often the club run events, jump days, or clinics which the equipment will be used, how you think this will benefit the club.

Equipment Hire
Small Trailer with Breakaway Stands and Timing Gear Trailer (which is soon also to have a set of Breakaway Stands) are available for hire. Full set of gear is currently being painted and repaired, but available for hire. All hire enquiries - please contact Secretary, Alison Ford or phone 0419 646 737 (a/h) .

After discussion between the Showjumping Committee and EQ Board it has been agreed that all Showjumping Performance Cards need to be validated by the EFAQ Office for 2010
All Showjumping Performance Cards must be returned to the EQ Office for validation and updating for 2010. Please ensure all points are recorded on the performance cards from 2009, and initial beside this entry.
Please return performance cards when renewing membership, or if membership has already been renewed please forward cards by themselves.
No fee will be charged for this validation.
Judges are advised to withhold prizemoney until current Performance Cards or a Statutory Declaration is signed and presented.
