Australian Dressage rider Lyndal Oatley recently paid a visit to a group of Sydney school students.

Oatley, who lives in Germany with her husband, Swedish Dressage rider Patrik Kittel, was in Australia visiting family ahead of the London Olympic Games.

After a succession of strong performances at recent Australian team nomination events, the 32 year old was automatically nominated to the Australian Olympic Committee for a position on the three member Dressage team.

Oatley met with Redlands students involved in the school's Equestrian program and answered questions, posed for photos and signed autographs.

“It’s been really fun to meet kids and talk about their ponies and their lives and their dreams. It’s been a really good day, it’s been fun,” Lyndal said.
