2017 Memberships now available!

Welcome to Equestrian Queensland the peak body for horse sports in Queensland and the state body of Equestrian Australia.

If this is your first time joining Equestrian Queensland never fear, all you need to know about our membership and it's benefits is available HERE.

If you are a current member or have ever been a member of EA in another state you can renew your membership by logging into your MyEA portal.

If you have not received your renewal notice or are unsure of your login details, contact the office and our friendly staff will able able to assist you.

Membership renewals are due by 31 December 2016. Should payment not be received by 31 January, 2017 a re-joining fee will be applied.

Below is some additional information about the MyEA portal, Interschool registration, EA/PCA Dual membership for juniors and Blue Card requirements.

MyEA

Were you aware that Equestrian Australian released a new membership portal in 2016? MyEA provides greater efficiencies in the way EA members renew their memberships and registrations, allowing members to complete these tasks anywhere, anytime. All you need is your membership number and password which you can find on your attached invoice. Through MyEA members can do the following:
• Renew your membership
• Update your membership details
• View your Coaching or Officials qualifications and manage the information that is public
• View information of horses which you own
• View results
• Register new horses and purchase competition licences. Licences will be forwarded to you by email. Competition licences will only be issued for those horses that have a microchip number recorded and all owners are current. For Competitive Dressage, all horses must have bridle numbers.

Juniors
Juniors will be eligible for the EA/PCA Dual Junior membership refund of $50.00 upon providing EQ with a copy of your Pony Club receipt, or a copy of your Pony Club Queensland membership card.
If you are a Junior member competing at Interschool Queensland events, please notify the EQ Office of your name and horse/s name and IQ number (or apply for a new IQ number for a new horse). IQ numbers are available to be printed the link provided.

All horses competing in Interschool for 2017 must be base registered (this is FREE, but available online only). If it is your intention to compete at the Interschool State Championships, the horse must then be EA life registered.

Blue Cards
If you are an official, member of a sport committee, coach or volunteer, under Queensland Legislation you must hold a current Blue Card. The purpose of the blue card system is to contribute to the creation of safe and supportive environments for children and young people when receiving services and participating in activities which are essential to their development and wellbeing, such as child care, education, sport, and cultural activities. Please advise EQ of your Blue Card Number and expiry date.
