EQ High Performance Coordinator

Equestrian Queensland is pleased to welcome Anita Barton to the EQ Team as High Performance Coordinator for a period of 6 months to replace Sasha Ulasowski who is on maternity leave until 30 June 2018.

Anita brings a wealth of knowledge through her involvement in the sport of Dressage as a competitor, judge, both dressage and eventing, long time DQ committee member, including 4 years as the role of DQ High performance Manager. Anita is also currently completing her PhD in Veterinary Science looking at the effect of high-impact exercise on bone adaptation in young horses. 

Anita commences on January 8 and is looking forward to continuing Sasha’s work with each of the Olympic disciplines to provide fair and consistent access to improved education and development opportunities to state squads riders to Equestrian Queensland’s high performance program.
