EQ Sport Development Funding Programs - investing $40,000!

Through the Equestrian Queensland Sport Development Funding Programs, EQ has successfully supported over 20 applications for funding which has directly benefitted over 290 riders and officials across the State. The EQ Sport Development Programs invest $40,000 of funding back into the sport through three separate programs.

Some of the events supported in Round 1 of the EQ Sport Development Program 1 include; over 10 rider development clinics, Dressage Judges clinics (both for Upgrading/refreshing judges and for new prospective judges), Jumping Judges and Jumping Course designer clinics.   Riders have been able to attend clinics with elite level coaches such as Olympians Rebel Morrow and Guy Creighton at heavily reduced rates.

Equestrian Queensland CEO, Matt Helmers states that the 'EQ sports development grants aims to empower key enablers with relevant resources to build capacity and capability for sustained participation growth'.

There are currently three EQ Sport Development Programs available, these programs aim to assist in the growth and development of affiliated clubs, riders, coaches, and to assist in the  development of officials in Queensland.
