An Olympian and Three Junior Champions will compete at Doomben Racecourse on 25 March
The Aquis Racehorse Retraining Triequithon will see equestrian champions battle it out on their retrained racehorses in the spectacular and enthralling event at Doomben Racecourse on 25 March 2017.
The major racehorse training and breeding business, Aquis Farm, is the naming rights sponsor for the 2017 event.

The Triequithon is the perfect opportunity to showcase the temperament and talent of the thoroughbred and what they can do after racing.” said Justin Fung, CEO of Aquis Farm.
“We have horses returning from Asia to our purpose-built equestrian farm in the Gold Coast hinterland, where we retrain them for their future life. The Olympic sport of eventing is a sport that Australia has excelled at on the back of a thoroughbred and this is a natural outlet for their talents.”
With the best horses and riders competing in Queensland’s richest and most prestigious modified 1* event, David Finch, the Chair of Equestrian Queensland is delighted to be a part of the event again. “It’s a really strong field again this year that includes Paris Auer, Natalie Siiankoski and Madeline Wilson who are Queensland riders that have won major junior championships in Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. Olympian Rebel Morrow and a string of our best eventing riders will also be competing. Having such wonderful Queensland talent showcase their equestrian skills in front of a crowd of up to 5,000 people at Doomben on a race day has got to be fabulous for Queensland Eventing.”
Katie Churchill, General Manager of Sales & Marketing, Brisbane Racing Club was keen to see the Triequithon continue at Doomben. “Last year’s event was such a great success giving attendees a chance to dress up and enjoy a great day of equestrian sport. The great racing, meant that we were able to provide our crowds that added bonus of entertainment and competition between races on the St Ledger Lawn.”

The Aquis Racehorse Retraining Triequithon is a showcase event for retired racehorses to compete in a modified format of the Olympic sport of eventing. The same horse and rider will compete in dressage, show jumping and cross country jumping in between the races at Doomben on 25 March.
