Conditions of Entry

1. Rules
It is the responsibility of all owners and riders and exhibitors and lessees to be familiar with and aware of all Equestrian Australia rules which govern this sport. For example; the constitution, by-law and policies consist of, but are not limited to: Codes of Conduct, Equine Anti-Doping and Medication Control Regulations. Member Protection Policy National Show Horse Rules

All owners and riders and exhibitors and lessees, entered or competing in the Equestrian Queensland Show must be financial members of the Equestrian Australia (Queensland Branch) Inc. and all horses entered or competing in the Equestrian Queensland Show must be registered with the Equestrian Australia (Queensland Branch) Inc. Such membership/registrations shall be effective by time of entry. At least (1)  Owner/Lessee must be a financial Member of EQ for horses.

All Horses/Ponies must be domiled in Qld (and within a 100km radius of the boarder) for a total period of 3 months immediately preceding the date of the HOTY Event.

2.          Contact with Appointed Judge/s

If it is brought to the attention of the organizing committee that any owner/rider/exhibitor/lessee has been in contact with and/or makes contact with an appointed judge at any stage throughout the duration of the show, that owner/rider/exhibitor/lessee will automatically forfeit their right to entry.

3.          Protests

All protests must be submitted in writing to the ringmaster no later than sixty (60) minutes following the completion of the class in question. All protests shall be accompanied by a cash fee of $150.00 which shall be forfeited should the protest be deemed frivolous or the protest is dismissed.

4.          Payments

Payments are NON-REFUNDABLE at closure date and NON-TRANSFERABLE (Transferable entry money may be considered with a vet certificate)

5.          Prize/s

Any prize/s not collected on the day of the show will be forfeited.

6. All owners and riders and exhibitors and lessees, entered or competing in the Equestrian Queensland Show must be financial members of the Equestrian Australia (Queensland Branch) Inc. and all horses entered or competing in the Equestrian Queensland Show must be registered with the Equestrian Australia Inc. Such membership/registrations shall be effective by close of entries.

7. All Biosecurity Horse Health Declaration forms must be submitted to the show secretary on the day of the show, prior to the commencement of classes. For health declaration follow link:
