EOI for IQ Riders to attend EQ High Performance Seminar

Interschool Queensland would like to invite IQ riders to submit expressions of interest to attend the EQ High Performance Seminar, being held on Sunday 27 May at Gatton.

This is a wonderful opportunity for riders wishing to progress their equestrian careers and who are aiming for State Squads in their chosen disciplines. The HP Seminar is designed for Squad Members, however EQ have offered a limited number of places to interschool in recognition of the importance of the junior pathway into High Performance. Topics that will be covered include:

• Periodisation: Turning up ready to perform
• Sports psychology for the elite athlete
• How horses learn; how humans learn

Please submit your EOI to [email protected] outlining your achievements to date within interschool & EA competition, your equestrian goals and how you think attending this seminar will benefit you. This seminar would ideally suit riders in grade 11 & 12, however all interested IQ members are invited to submit an EOI.

EOI's close midday Friday 20 April, and successful applicants will be notified by Friday 27 April. 

Please note, this seminar is conducted off the horse and does not involve any riding instruction.
