The Queensland Off-The-Track (QOTT) Leaderboard has been established to highlight Standardbred and Thoroughbred ex racehorses excelling in their new careers.
From much loved paddock companions to the ideal equestrian athletes, there is no limit to their ability and what they can achieve in their lives off the track.
In 2026, the QOTT Leaderboards will continue to recognise and award both OTT Standardbred and Thoroughbred horses separately, that have accumulated the highest points in each discipline at events from 1 November 2025 to 1 November 2026.
To be eligible, OTT horses must be Base or Life Registered with Equestrian Queensland (as per the EA National Rules of each discipline / level of competition).
$7,000 Total Prize Money
Thanks to Queensland Off-The-Track and Racing Queensland, the champion of each QOTT Leaderboard will receive $500!
All prizes will be presented at the 2026 EQ Annual Awards.
QOTT Standardbred and Thoroughbred Leaderboards
In 2026, ALL QOTT Leaderboards will be generated from self-submitted results (self nominating).
Points will be allocated to eligible submitted results from 35 points for 1st place down to 1 point for 35th place.
For ALL leaderboards results may be submitted:
- Dressage - from any EA affiliated dressage competition in competitive or participant classes from preparatory level and above.
- Show Horse - from any Show Horse Queensland events, check the live calendar here to view the eligible show horse events - 2026 SH Calendar of Events (October 2025).jpg
(overall Champion and Reserve Champion results will not receive points). - Jumping - from any EA affiliated jumping competition for 60cm classes and above.
- Eventing - from any EA affiliated eventing competition.
- Interschool - from any 2026 Regional Championship and the 2026 IQ State Championships.
- Driving - from any EA / Driving Queensland affiliated event.
- Vaulting - from any EA / Vaulting Queensland affiliated event.
Submitting Results
To submit your results to be included in ANY QOTT Leaderboard -Thoroughbred or Standardbred, please download and complete the following results submission form and email it to [email protected] within the correct time frames (see below).
To be eligible and included in the QOTT Leaderboard round/s of publications -

Round 1 - All results from competitions from Saturday 1st November 2025 - Sunday 1st March 2026 must be submitted by Sunday 22nd March 2026

Round 2 - All results from competitions from Monday 2nd March 2026 - Sunday 31st May 2026 must be submitted by Sunday 21st June 2026.

Round 3 - All results from competitions from Monday 1 June 2026 - Sunday 30th August 2026 must be submitted by Sunday 20th September 2026.

Final - All results from competitions from Monday 31st August 2026 - Sunday 1st November 2026 must be submitted by Tuesday 3rd November 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.
