EA Member Insurance

The EA National Insurance Programme offers members 24/7 Personal Accident and Public Liability Insurance whilst engaged in non-income earning equestrian activities.  For all Membership enquiries please contact your local State Branch. 

We're pleased to share that Equestrian Australia has appointed Gow-Gates Insurance Brokers as our new insurance intermediary for affiliated equine associations. Gow-Gates bring extensive experience in sport and equine insurance, and we're confident this partnership will deliver specialist support for our members going forward.

What This Means for You

No immediate change to coverage - All existing insurance policies remain valid until 30 June 2026.

New point of contact - Gow-Gates will manage policy enquiries, renewals, and insurance support moving forward.

Transition underway - Members will receive further updates, including access to new resources and information.

What You Need to Do

Claims - submit new claims (with supporting documents) to EA for verification before lodgement, please see below on how to submit a claim.

EA and Gow-Gates are committed to ensuring a smooth transition and continued support for all members.

The decision to appoint Gow-Gates as our insurance broker, effective from 13/05/2026. Gow-Gates will now manage all current claims.

EA Club Insurance

As an EA affiliated club you have access to the EA National Insurance Programme, which offers clubs Personal Accident, Public Liability, Professional Indemnity and Management Liability Insurance.
