Jacqui Huppert - Director of Equestrian Queensland

Jacqui has ridden since she was four and a half years of age and has engaged in a range of equestrian sports including but not limited to; Pony club, Show jumping, Jump equitation (on the Qld State Equitation squad), Eventing, Polocrosse and Western.

Jacqui has competed successfully at Grand Prix on a horse she bred and trained herself and has trained numerous horses to FEI.  She represented QLD on the QLD State Dressage squad on several horses over a number of years and was selected to represent Australia in the FEI Prix St George Challenge in 1999 and was selected again in 2009.  Jacqui is a EA accredited Dressage Coach, an ‘A’ Level Dressage Judge, Judge Mentor and Young Horse Judge and has been a member of the QLD Dressage Judge’s Subcommittee for a period of time.

Her professional qualifications include; Bachelor of Applied Science Health (Podiatry) Queensland University of Technology; Diploma of Business (Hospitality) University of Queensland; Endorsed Midwife: Trained at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH) and Registered Nurse: Trained at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH).

Jacqui brings to the Board of Equestrian Queensland a broad range of skills and a depth of knowledge gained from her experience in Health Care regulation for the past 13 years and professional experience in the horse industry.
