Nicholas Ballard - Chair of Equestrian Queensland

Nicholas Ballard's experience of Equestrian is wide and varied being gained from involvement in a range of administrative roles, a deep personal interest as a competitor, and also as a parent in the sport.

The following Equestrian administrative positions of Burpengary Equestrian Centre; Interschool Queensland Chairman and National Interschool Representative for 3 years; Team Manager for both PC and IQ State Teams have been instrumental in helping to develop a comprehensive understanding of the needs of young riders across a number of disciplines.

In support of Equestrian Queensland, Nick will bring a very strong work ethic to the table with a high level of commitment, enthusiasm and determination in support of all aspects of the board’s development of Equestrian in Queensland in the future.

His work with Interschool Queensland has been influential in developing his interest in equestrian youth.

Equestrian is a holistic sport that supports young female and male competitors on an equal basis developing self-esteem, confidence, camaraderie, honour and respect.

In accordance with the constitution Nick will support its members and assist in developing and fostering interest through Equestrian disciplines.
