Fire Ant Biosecurity Zone Changes Webinar

On Thursday 1 September 2022, the fire ant biosecurity zones in South East Queensland will be updated.

Fire ants can have devastating consequences. They can destroy crops, damage machinery and electrical systems, and render land unusable. They can also attack pets and livestock.

To help you prepare for the zone changes Equestrian Queensland members have been invited to an online webinar on 23 August 2022.

During this webinar, there will be valuable insight into what the zone changes will mean for you and what you need to do to prepare for their implementation.

The new zones will be in place and enforceable from 1 September 2022.
