• Introduction: Pathways and accreditation process
• Roles and Responsibilities of the judge
• Welfare of the Horse, Codes of Conducts
• Rules: Course plans, flags, bell, arena and practice areas,

11.00-11.15 Morning break

11.15-12.30    2^nd session

• Rules: Penalties, time and speed, elimination, disqualification, discipline procedure, dress, saddlery, types of competition,

12.30- 1.15 Lunch

1.15- 2.45   3^rd session

• Rules continued
• Scoring
• Conflict resolution, personal skills
• EA requirements

2.45-3.00 Afternoon break

3.15- 4.45 4^th session

• Scenario discussion
• Open book written test for those promoting to EA L2
• Optional open book written test for those who are attending Day 1 of the 2 Day EA L1 course
• Open book written test for those attending as Day 2 of the 2 Day course to promote to EA L1
• Final wrap up if time permits
