Killarney Show *POSTPONED*

It is with regret that we wish to inform you that the 2022 Killarney Show has been postponed. Many factors were considered when making this decision, first and foremost, our responsibility to the health and safety of our community, members, volunteers and supporters. The management committee believe that, given the current situation, this is in the best interest of all. We have been extremely fortunate to hold our annual show the last two years when many others were forced to cancel. Unfortunately, this year sees us in a different situation. A major consideration for us was the financial impact it would have if we had a last-minute cancellation or held an unsuccessful Show. Whilst this is always a possibility, due to the lack of events we have been able to hold over the last two years we do not have the ability to absorb these expenses.

What does this mean for the 2022 Show? We are still planning to hold our 110th Show when we have been advised by the Queensland Chamber of Agricultural Shows of a new date. Due to the uncertainty of the times this may not be known for a few weeks or even months. With regards to the public holiday on the 18th February, at this stage it will remain the same.

We would like to thank all of our volunteers who have already contributed many hours towards planning and organising this year’s Show. Also to our sponsors, thank you for your continued support as we could not run the event without you. Please show your support for these businesses with your patronage.
