After serious and lengthy consideration of the input from the Show Society Membership, the Mudgeeraba Show Society Management Committee have made the heartfelt decision to cancel the 2022 Mudgeeraba Agricultural Show.
Our highest priority continues to be the safety of our patrons, stakeholders, volunteers, and livestock that attend our annual event.
With the unprecedented rainfall and subsequent flooding in recent months, the Showgrounds are unable to accommodate the heavy machinery and traffic that the event demands.
The Mudgeeraba Show Society will continue the exchange with, and to volunteer at, other agricultural shows in 2022 in robust support of the ongoing success of the agricultural show movement in Queensland.
We now look towards our 2023 Show with hope and enthusiasm. We acknowledge our members, volunteers, community partnerships and sponsors and the Gold Coast community for their unwavering support.
