Vaulting Queensland

The first vaulting competition for 2014 was held at New England Girls School Equestrian Centre, Armidale on the weekend of 15/16th February 2014. This event was organized by Fassifern Vaulting Inc, and hosted by NEGS Vaulting at their equestrian centre. The idea behind this event was to use the knowledge of how to run an event that the Fassifern vaulting club have with the enthusiasm of the NEGS vaulters, while taking advantage of the great venue at NEGS. Vaulters travelled from Fassifern and Ella Springs clubs in QLD and Scone & Southern Highlands in NSW to compete at the event and all competitors were accommodated on site in the boarding house. This provided a great opportunity for socializing, as well as competing and the Saturday evening BBQ provided by the NEGS parents and vaulters was a great success. The weekend was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended and we hope to make this event an annual event and also look forward to welcoming NEGS vaulters at our events in QLD. All levels of competition were represented, with competitive vaulters using this event as a lead up to the CVI Adelaide and beginner vaulters having their first competition experience.
