2016 EQ ANNUAL AWARDS EVENING
More than 300 passionate equestrians of all disciplines converged on Southbank for the 2016 Equestrian Queensland Annual Awards Evening, and they were not disappointed!
With perfect pairing of a new venue, Rydge's Southbank and MC, Kay McGrath, everyone knew they were in for a night full of good food, good friends and great entertainment that would not soon be forgotten.

2016 saw some changes to the Award categories which were well received and allowed a wider range of our community to be recognized.
A thank-you must go to all of the nominees & finalists for their contribution to the sport, it is so very heart-warming to know that there are so many dedicated people who allow this sport to dominate so much of their lives.
Congratulations to all the winners, you are all truly deserving of these accolades.
On the night, attendees also took a moment to reflect upon the life of a dear friend, who we lost in 2016. Vince Corvi, you are a true legend of your time and your memory will live on for many years to come.
Once again we would like to congratulate and thank these individuals and teams for all they do for us and our horses!
