Queensland’s Night of Equestrian Excellence: Celebrating Remarkable Achievement in 2025
On Saturday, 22 November, equestrian enthusiasts from across Queensland gathered in the Podium Ballroom at the elegant Rydges, South Bank for the highly anticipated 2025 Equestrian Queensland Annual Awards. The evening was filled with camaraderie, pride, and celebration as our community came together to honour exceptional achievements across every corner of the sport.
Hosted by the beautiful Emma Irene, the night set a warm and uplifting tone from the outset. Attendees from across the disciplines of Dressage, Driving, Endurance, Eventing, Jumping, Interschool, Show Horse, Vaulting and Working Equitation joined in recognising the athletes, volunteers, officials, and supporters whose dedication strengthens and elevates equestrian sport in Queensland.
Recognising Excellence Across Disciplines
The night began with presentations from the discipline Committees, acknowledging outstanding contributions and accomplishments within each discipline. These were followed by the EQ Next Gen Leaderboard Awards and the prestigious Queensland Off-The-Track Leaderboard Awards, each celebrating individuals and horses who have excelled throughout the year.
A Night of Gratitude and Inspiration
Inspirational speeches and heartfelt moments highlighted the invaluable efforts of our volunteers, whose behind-the-scenes dedication makes every event possible. Appreciation was also extended to our sponsors and partners, whose support continues to drive the growth and success of equestrian sport across the state.
Honouring Our Winners
The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the 15 major award categories, recognising extraordinary talent, leadership, and commitment across all levels of equestrianism. From juniors and rising stars to accomplished athletes and devoted contributors, each winner showcased the passion and perseverance that define our sport.
