Beyond the Bridle: Charlotte Drynan

Charlotte Drynan’s passion for equestrian sport and communications has found a natural intersection through her work with Equestrian Queensland.

Working alongside the organisation’s leadership team, Drynan has contributed to communications and storytelling projects that highlight riders, horses and the grassroots participants who form the backbone of the sport.

This passion led to the creation of Beyond the Bridle, a member-driven publication celebrating Queensland’s equestrian community — from elite athletes to everyday riders balancing careers, family life and early mornings at the stables.

Version Two of Beyond the Bridle is set to be released at the end of May.

Alongside editorial projects, Drynan has supported communications initiatives across the sport, helping elevate the visibility of Queensland equestrian through digital media, event coverage and community engagement.

For Drynan, the future of equestrian in Queensland is about more than competition — it is about connection, opportunity and ensuring the stories within the sport continue to be shared.
