The Coaching Intensive Assessment Clinic Goes Regional

Whilst Equestrian Queensland’s (EQ) Coaching Intensive Assessment Clinic has been run in South East Queensland on multiple occasions, this is the first time the clinic has been run in regional Queensland and will be held in Rockhampton.

With the support of Grant and Julie Paddison from Granlea Riding Centre, who are passionate equestrians in the community, EQ along with the EQ Coaching Advisory Group have been able to bring the initiative to fruition.

11 coaching candidates at Equestrian Australia (EA) Introductory Level, EA Level 1, EA Vaulting Coaches and Associate Vaulting Lungers have registered for the Intensive Assessment held over two days at Alton Downs on 11/12 September.

Supported by EA Coach Educators Sally-Ann Barbera (EA Level 2 General and Dressage Specialist), Trudy Dougall (EA Level 2 General) and Darryn Fedrick (EA Level 2 Vaulting Specialis) will mentor and guide the candidates through the accreditation process.

38 demonstration riders both junior and senior, have generously provided their time to the initiative.

Equestrian Queensland have financially supported the event through EQ Sport Development Funding and funding from the Queensland Government under the Active Industry Fund.
