EOI – 2026 Show Horse Queensland Championship Rugs

Show Horse Queensland, a sport committee of Equestrian Queensland, invites submissions from suitably qualified suppliers for the design, manufacture, and delivery of high-quality championship rugs for our 2026 State Championship events.

These prestigious events attract competitors from across Queensland, showcasing excellence in horse presentation, performance, and professionalism. As such, the rugs awarded to champions, reserve champions, and special award recipients are a significant and highly visible recognition of achievement. We are seeking a supplier who can deliver premium products that reflect the prestige of Show Horse Queensland and provide exceptional value to our competitors, sponsors, and stakeholders.

• 2026 Newcomer State Championships
• 2026 Child’s Horse of the Year (HOTY)
• 2026 Horse of the Year (HOTY)

Scope of Supply

Interested suppliers will be asked to provide quotations and design proposals for the supply of championship rugs including, but not limited to:

• Champion and Reserve Champion rugs
• Special award rugs (e.g. Owner/Rider etc.)
• Custom embroidery featuring event branding and sponsor logos
• Options for materials, colours, binding, and design finishes

• High-quality, durable fabric suitable for presentation and ongoing use
• Consistent sizing and fit across divisions
• Ability to incorporate multiple sponsor logos in accordance with branding guidelines
• Timely delivery aligned with event schedules
• Competitive pricing with options for volume efficiencies
• Excellent customer service and communication throughout the design and production process
