Thank you to Christine Thompson ~ Equine Muscle Matters for presenting our previous EQ Q&A. Christine Thompson presented a video with information on Dynamic / Static Stretching and warming up techniques.

For our next presenter of the EQ Q&A Educational Series, we would like to introduce Georgia Taylor from Attwood Marshall Lawyers.

Georgia Taylor is highly experienced in all facets of equine legal matters, a Commercial Litigation and Thoroughbred Racing lawyer, accomplished dressage horse rider, and passionate civil courtroom advocate. Georgia holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from Bond University. She is a qualified Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and in the High Court of Australia.

Georgia Taylor is a Commercial Litigation and Thoroughbred Racing lawyer, accomplished dressage horse rider, and passionate civil courtroom advocate. Georgia holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from Bond University. She is a qualified Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and in the High Court of Australia.

As a dedicated Commercial Litigation lawyer, Georgia is highly experienced in Australian Consumer Law, professional negligence, debt recovery, property and leasing disputes, enforcing judgments (bankruptcy) and has resolved banking disputes as a result of the recent Banking Royal Commission.

Georgia has represented clients at all levels of Queensland and New South Wales Courts and has assisted in matters before the Federal Court of Australia. She liaises with clients, instructs counsel, appears in Court and meticulously manages commercial litigation files. She excels in strategic litigation, mediations, and other out-of-court settlements to achieve a commercially successful outcome for her clients.

Georgia represents horse owners in thoroughbred racing law matters and equine disputes. Her passion outside of work is horseriding in her chosen discipline of dressage. Georgia was President of Bond University Equestrian Club and is an accomplished dressage competitor with state and national competition experience. She has owned her own horses since the age of 6, is an active participant of the local horse communities, and is a committee member of the Equestrian Gold Coast Club.

Georgia is a confident and calm competitor who always wants to win for her clients. She is resilient and focused on great results in and out of the courtroom. She is driven to help our clients by showing them they have someone on their side in a dispute. She is a strong communicator, compassionate, and can deliver complex legal advice in layman’s terms. Prior to Attwood Marshall Lawyers, Georgia was a commercial litigation law clerk and a paralegal at firms on the Gold Coast. She worked in Queensland and New South Wales Supreme, and District Courts in matters including debt recovery, joint venture and partnership disputes, insolvency, bankruptcy, corporate structuring and franchise disputes.

Georgia is part of the Attwood Marshall Lawyers Commercial Litigation team, headed by Senior Associate, Charles Lethbridge. The team is supported by experienced Senior Commercial Litigation paralegal, Amanda Heather and the Attwood Marshall Lawyers administrative team.
