Eventing Queensland State Championships & Warwick Horse Trials CCI Wrap

The 2025 Eventing Queensland State Championships, held in conjunction with the Warwick Horse Trials CCI at Morgan Park, brought together riders from across the state.  The program ran smoothly thanks to the efforts of the organising committee, officials, and many volunteers who made the event possible.

Riders and horses contested state titles across all levels, with each phase of competition providing its share of challenges and highlights. 

Special Awards

Two long-standing perpetual trophies were also presented during the championships:

Wilson Family Trophy – Lowest Penalties Overall Junior Rider and Horse
This year’s recipients were Grace Collins and Premonition, recognised for achieving the lowest overall penalties in the junior category.

Foster Family Trophy – Lowest Penalties Overall Senior Rider and Horse
Awarded to Aleshia Lorensen on Finch Farm Chrysler, for finishing the championships with the lowest penalties in the senior category.

Eventing Queensland thanks Warwick Horse Trials for hosting, our sponsors for their valued support, and the officials and volunteers whose contribution ensured the event’s success. Thanks also go to the families and supporters who continue to play an important role in our sport.
