Expressions of Interest for Presenters at the EQ Volunteer Education Day

Equestrian Queensland (EQ) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Officials, Stewards, Experienced Volunteers and EA Coaches who are interested in being part of the EQ Volunteer Induction / Education and Come & Try Day.

Project Aim

  • To produce a program to attract and develop volunteers.

  • Provide support to clubs and event organisers providing volunteers with training and a development opportunity.

  • Provide a professional development opportunity for EA Coaches in Queensland.

  • Provide a come & try rider opportunity.

Brief Description

During National Volunteer Week, Equestrian Queensland (EQ) is hosting a Volunteer Induction / Education Day with two programs that will provide volunteers with an 'Entry Level Pathway' and 'Next Level Development' in equestrian sport.

EQ Volunteer Induction / Education Day and Come & Try

Saturday 20 May 2023 at Queensland State Equestrian Centre (QSEC), Caboolture
 

Entry Level -  Volunteer Induction Program

  • Dressage Pencilling

  • Scoreboard/Tablet Training

  • Jumping Pencilling / Time Keeping / Rail Stewarding

  • Gear Check / Ring Marshalling

  • Cross Country Jump Judging

  • First Aid / CPR Course (EQ Members Subsidised Cost $50/ Non Members $90) -
    This course will include all the pre-learning / theory online during the week prior and will only include the practical componant in-person (approx 1hr)
