It's 'Weekends with Warren' again at QI3DE

Warren Boland appointed ground announcer for 2014 QI3DE

Warren Boland , former presenter of the highly acclaimed ABC program “Weekends with Warren”, broadcast throughout Qld, and internationally experienced sports commentator has been appointed as ground announcer for the 2014 QI3DE to be held at Morgan Park Warwick August 28 – 31.

Warren’s highly professional delivery, honed during years of radio broadcasting’ will provide first class commentary and direction for both competitors and spectators alike. His expert sporting commentary at numerous Olympic and Commonwealth Games is well documented.  

A star professional Rugby League player ,and captain of the NRL Wests Magpies in his youth he is well versed in the “State of Origin” concept having broadcast many  Rugby League “State of Origin “ clashes and is well aware of the passion associated with such contests between Qld and NSW. With a foot in both camps as a native New South Welshman but a resident of Qld for decades he will be well placed to provide a balanced and knowledgeable presentation of the action of the 2014 Eventing “State of Origin” clash no doubt sprinkled with his intelligent sense of humour.
