Notice of Equestrian Queensland Annual General Meeting and Call for Nominations

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the Members of Equestrian Queensland Inc. that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Association will be held on Wednesday 25 March at 6.30pm.

Please find below the nomination forms for election to an Equestrian Queensland Sport Committee or the Board of Equestrian Queensland.  

When nominating, please provide a one page CV and a 300 word summary of your skills, attributes and experience that you believe are relevant to your nomination.

At this time, the Equestrian Queensland election cycle requires the election of two (2) persons to each sport committee and two (2) persons to the Board of Equestrian Queensland (either incumbents or new persons).  Nominations close at 4.30pm Friday 6 February 2026.

Also, should there be any Notice of Motion for inclusion as special business to be put before the AGM, such notices must be received by the Equestrian Queensland office no later than 4.30pm Friday 6 February 2026.

The AGM agenda including the business to be transacted will be directed to all members entitled to receive such notices by Wednesday 18 February 2026.  This Notice of Meeting will be available on all electronic mediums.

If the number of nominations for the Board of Equestrian Queensland or the Equestrian Queensland Sport Committees exceed the number of positions available, voting for the elections will be conducted online and advertised on this page once nominations have closed.
