Queenslanders make their mark on Sydney 3DE

What a weekend for Queensland at the 2017 Sydney International Three Day Event!

At least one Queenslander started in all but one class and we came away with a top ten placing in all but two, including Madeline Wilson who took top spot in the CCI3* class with I'm Bruce!

After purchasing Bruce as a yearling Madeline has worked very hard to produce this gelding to 3* herself.

This weekend the pair enjoyed their first, of what we are sure will be many major wins after being the only combination to jump clear on the testing 3* track.

Madeline continued her success with 3 horses inside the top 12 in the CIC* class with Mumbo Jumbo and Oaks Onyx placing 4th and 9th respectively.

In the CCI1* class, Natalie Siiankoski piloted her AQUIS Express Eventing mount, Royal Talisman to 10th place, while Eventing Queensland Futures Squad combination Brett Cantle and Premonition finished in a close 2nd place in the CIC** class.

Queensland also had success in the national classes with Portia Wilson and Mattea Davidson placing inside the top ten in their respective EvA105 classes as well as Justine Streater who placed 2nd in the 5yo Young Event Horse class on Arnage Quintina.
