Redlands Coast Regional Sport & Recreation Precinct Draft Master Plan Excludes Equestrian

The Equestrian Queensland (EQ) Statewide Facilites Plan 2019 - 2028, identified six key priority projects that are required to secure the statewide facilities network. These projects were identified using the data from existing equestrian competition and affiliates. One of the six key priority projects identified was in the Redlands area with the need for an establishment of a minimum Tier 3 facility with surface being the priority. 

Despite all efforts made in 2019 by Redlands & Southern Districts Equestrian Group to secure a facility to meet equestrian needs, Redlands City Council released the Redlands Coast Regional Sport & Recreation Precinct Draft Master Plan in December, 2019 for Heinemann Rd, Mt Cotton excluding any equestrian facilities.
