Vale 'Graeme Acton'

The Australian cattle industry has lost one of its most charismatic and memorable graziers.

Graeme Acton passed away surrounded by family on Friday night, at the age of 63, one week after he sustained serious injuries during a fall at the Clarke Creek campdraft, north-west of Rockhampton in Central Queensland.

Graeme possessed a unique ability to communicate with people irrespective of their background or social standing and united tens of thousands through his love of the art form of campdrafting.

He was a proud Queenslander, a great horseman, a champion of campdrafting and a great Australian.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Graeme's family at this sad time.
