2019 Eventing Changes

There are many changes to the 2019 EA Eventing Rules so please ensure you read the rules -

Eventing Rule Change Summary

• All juniors in both National and FEI Events need express permission to ride in 2* and 3* ... application form

Changes to Eventing class names for 2019...

FEI Short format
CCI4*-S (previously CIC3*)
CCI3*-S (previously CIC2*)
CCI2*-S (previously CIC1*)
CCI1*-S (new FEI introductory level for EVA105)

FEI Long format
CCI5*-L (previously CCI4*)
CCIL*-L (previously CCI3*)
CCI3*L (previously CCI2*)
CCI2*-L (previously CCI1*)
CCI1*-L (new FEI introductory level for EVA105)

National Short Format
CCN4*-S (previously CNC3*)
CCN3*-S (previously CNC2*)
CCN2*-S (previously CNC1*)
CCN1*-S (previously EVA105)
EvA95 (the same as previously)
EvA80 (the same as previously)

National Long format
CCN4*-L (previously CNC3*)
CCN3*-L (previously CNC2*)
CCN2*-L (previously CNC1*)
CCN1*-L (previously CCN105)
CCN95-L
CCN80-L

Please note that Australia may not be running an FEI CCI1*-L or CCI1*-S class as this would require horses and
riders to be FEI registered and have a National Passport at this level.

CCI = Eventing (Concours Complet) INTERNATIONAL
CCN = Eventing (Concours Complet) NATIONAL
-S = short format – Dressage – Show Jumping / Cross Country
-L = long format - Dressage - Cross-Country – Show Jumping (each phase on a different day)
