EQ Sport Development Funding

The 2017 criteria for EQ Sport Development Funding is now available on the EQ website, with applications opening on 1 January 2017.

There are 2 Sport Development Programs available in Qld:

Program 1- Aims to assist in club growth and rider/official development through clinics and workshops (open to Sport Committees and clubs for dressage, jumping and eventing)

Program 2- Aims to assist individual coaches and officials to attend EA/FEI upgrade and refresher courses (open to individuals from any discipline)

There have been some changes to the criteria for SDF Program 1 for 2017 so please ensure you familiarise yourself with these changes prior to submitting an application. These changes relate primarily to the following:

  • Application periods have been bought forward to enable applications to be assessed prior to clinics taking place (this is particularly relevant for Round 2)
  •  Acquittal paperwork is required within 1 month of the clinic or by the final submissions date for the relevant round (whichever is sooner)
  • Terms and conditions have been updated to ensure that EQ members receive the highest benefit from SDF as they contribute significantly towards Equestrian Sports and this should be acknowledged

If you have any questions relating to EQ Sport Development Funding Program 1, please don't hesitate to contact Christine in the EQ office on 3891 6611 or email [email protected]
