OCTOBER QUIET ACHIEVER

Each month Equestrian Queensland will be taking the opportunity to recognise the huge contribution of the ‘quiet achievers’ who work behind the scenes and to contribute to the sport, irrespective of any recognition.

EQ relies heavily on its volunteer workforce and we would not have been as successful as what it has been in 2016 without the hard working people who support the sport in various areas.

This month’s “Quiet Achiever” is Christine Bradfield.

Along with being a full time working mum, jumping judge and secretary for Jumping Queensland, Christine has, over the last 12 months assisted Jumping Queensland with the many changes that the new committee have faced, including a whole new sport committee and the appointment of a new Event Committee to run the highly successful Gatton World Cup.  JQ have benefited greatly from Christine’s unwavering commitment which includes traveling four hours to attend monthly evening meetings. Her organisational skills and hard work ethic provide a dependable constant for the committee to remain focused as the inevitable challenges have presented.

If you know of a quiet achiever, who works in the sport, doesn’t look for recognition and deserves to be recognised, email a photo and brief outline to [email protected]
