2025 Interschool Queensland State Team Update

It is with great pride and pleasure that we congratulate all riders who qualified to represent Interschool Queensland (IQ) at the 2025 Horseland Australian Interschool Championships from 25 - 28 September at Sydney International Equestrian Centre (SIEC), hosted by Equestrian NSW.

This year we have 108 qualified riders representing 62 schools. Available below is the unofficial team list, the Official Team will be announced when the AIC nominations are finalised.

With the Mighty Maroon’s team spirit at heart, this is an experience where lifelong friendships are formed and unforgettable memories are made. We wish everyone the very best of luck and success in the lead-up to the event.

There will be an IQ State Team Training Camp at Fig Tree Pocket Equestrian Club on 6-7 September. The camp includes on-horse sessions and BBQ dinner with Team Badge / Leadership Presentation on Saturday and off-horse seminars and team building fun on Sunday.

We would also like to take this opportunity to introduce the 2025 Interschool Queensland State Equestrian Leadership and Management Team:

Well done to the year 12 IQ riders who were selected as Co-Captains for the team and disciplines- the IQ committee are thrilled that you have all accepted these roles! And we must also thank our Team Discipline Managers who will be a great support to the Captains and Chef d'Equipe during the competition.

We look forward to seeing you all in uniform for the opening ceremony at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre at Horsley Park, NSW on 24 September!
