2026 EQ School Affiliation Renewals Now Open & IQ Program Update

We are pleased to advise that School Affiliate renewals for 2026 are now open, including participation in the Interschool Queensland (IQ) program.

2026 EQ School Affiliation Renewal Process via the EA JustGo Platform

School Affiliations are now managed through the new EA JustGo platform.

To complete your school’s renewal for 2026, please follow the steps below:

1. Set up your Administrator Profile
   Your JustGo administrator may be a school representative, teacher, equestrian coordinator or parent (with your approval in writing) and will need to have their own JustGo profile set up.
   If you do not already have a personal profile, create one here: https://equestrianaustralia.justgo.com/
   
   
2. Join your School
   Join your school on your profile under My Clubs on the right-hand side and click the tick icon.
   
   
3. Contact EQ to Link your Administrator Profile
   Email EQ to have your profile linked and set up as an administrator for your school. [email protected]
   
   
4. Access Your School Administration Tools
   Once linked, you will see additional Administration Tools under My Clubs.
   Click on Club Profiles to complete the following:
   -        Renew your school’s affiliation
   -        Update school contact details
   -        More functions will be available soon
   
   
5. Renewing your School Affiliation
   To complete your renewal:
   -        Click on Club Affiliation
   -        Choose QLD Sport Affiliate – School & Show Societies
   -        Complete the required details (Please note: Risk Management Policies/Plans or Biosecurity Policies/Plans are not compulsory for schools)
   -        Proceed to the checkout (there is no cost for this affiliation)
   -        If your School is hosting an IQ event in 2026, you will be required to also complete the QLD Sport Affiliate – School (Events) with an annual fee of $150.

IQ Team Registration & Uniform Information

To support membership validation, team identification and uniform compliance, all affiliated schools are required to register their 2026 school equestrian team.

Participation of State School Riders

We are pleased to confirm that the Queensland Department of Education will continue to permit State School students to participate in the Interschool Queensland equestrian program in 2026.

Forward Planning – 2026 IQ Program

The Interschool Queensland (IQ) program continues to expand in participation, pathways and event delivery. All relevant information, requirements and updates are detailed in the 2026 IQ Handbook, and we encourage schools, riders and families to familiarise themselves with the changes for the upcoming season.

In 2026, the IQ Program will include:

• A full calendar of IQ Qualifying Events
• Four Regional Championships:
  – North Coast (Wide Bay)
  – Central (Capricornia)
  – South-East Queensland
  – Darling Downs / South-West Queensland
• IQ Eventing Leaderboard
• IQ State Championships
• Australian Interschool Championships
