EQ Director Appointment

Equestrian Queensland is pleased to announce the appointment of Cathi Collier to the board of directors, filling the vacancy by the recent resignation of Karen Herald who served two terms spanning almost six years.

Cathi is an AICD fellow with a professional career spanning more than 30 years in government, media and corporate relations including senior executive roles in State and Federal Government.

‘Cathi has proven experience as an EQ director 2012-2014, which will provide an important contribution as we commence the 2016-2019 strategic cycle’ said Equestrian Queensland Chairman, David Finch.

‘We are incredibly fortunate that the EOI process attracted outstanding candidates which reinforces the expertise within the EQ membership’.

Further to new director appointment, Equestrian Queensland also has a new executive following the election of Sue Austin as the vice chair, which was vacated by David Finch following his elevation to the chair last month.
