The 2026 Eventing Queensland State Squads:
Appointments for the Eventing Queensland Elite, Futures and Youth Squads are selected on events participated at from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025. Further appointments can be made to the squad when combinations have reached the criteria at events in 2026 as and when the combination meets the Eventing Queensland Squad eligibility requirements.
Athletes must be prepared to sign a squad agreement.
All applications for Elite, Futures & Youth Squads will close on Monday 3 November, 2025. In the event that the combination has achieved the requirements after the closing date, then the combination will be moved into the correct Squad.
The applications are reviewed by Eventing Queensland and athletes who achieve the criteria will be invited to join the Eventing Queensland State Squads upon ratification by the Equestrian Queensland Board.
A Queensland combination that meets Equestrian Australia’s High Performance criteria will be appointed on an Eventing Queensland Squad, but an application and agreement is still required to be submitted.
