Queensland Eventer set to head across the Tasman

Isabel English will replace Tim Boland in Australia's senior eventing team which will take on New Zealand as part of the upcoming Oceania Championships in Taupo (NZ).

Boland is withdrawing from the team due to a minor injury to his horse Billy Elliot. He advised national selectors earlier today that it was not in his horse's best interests to run at Taupo.

Boland is disappointed to be withdrawing from the team but wished the Australians the best of luck for the event.

English will ride the 13 year old thoroughbred/connemara cross Feldale Mouse and joins the senior team of Shane Rose (CP Qualified), Jessica Manson (Legal Star) and Katja Weimann (BP Cosmopolitan).

An Australian Young Rider team will also travel to New Zealand for the event.

The Oceania Eventing Championshops will be held in conjunction with the Taupo CCI3* from 15-17 May.
