Dressage QLD Clinic Policy

The need for a  Dressage QLD Clinic policy is necessary to remove potential bias when a limited number of lessons are available with an International Coach/Trainer, and oversubscription occurs, at a Dressage QLD organised clinic.

The ideas behind the policy are to:

a) help the dissemination of information from coaches/coach educators/judge educators etc… downwards

b) meet squad benefits criteria as per squad agreements

c) reward the volunteers to the sport

When oversubscription to a Dressage QLD organised clinic with an International Coach/Trainer occurs, preference will be allocated to a point system where the below factors will be taken into account:

  • Current National Squad Combination
  • Current State Squad combinations
  • Accredited Coaches
  • Accredited Coach Educators
  • Accredited Judge
  • Accredited Judge Educators
  • Members of a committee (club or sub-committee)
  • Accredited EA of FEI Steward
  • Current State YR Squad combinations
  • Previous State Squad riders

Where oversubscription occurs, second horses will be placed on reserve list.
