Interschool Queensland Committee EOI's

The Interschool Queensland committee are currently seeking expressions of interest for positions on the IQ State Committee.

If you would like to help promote and grow the sport of interschool in Queensland, this could be a great opportunity for you! It is not necessary for committee members to have children competing in interschool competitions, however this could be well suited to a parent who has the passion and commitment to help the committee continue to grow the interschool program, as well as the opportunity to be involved in projects to increase participation in interschool as a whole.

The interschool program is multi-disciplinary, with riders representing their schools in the disciplines of dressage, jumping, eventing, show horse, showman and combined training.

Roles suiting people with interests in Dressage, Showman and Jumping are vacant.  These roles involve answering discipline specific queries where required and organising the State Championship classes in conjunction with the entire IQ committee,

The role of secretary is also vacant, which includes taking minutes at the monthly IQ meetings, preparing meeting agendas, and responding to interschool enquiries.

If you are interested in joining the IQ committee, or would like further information about these vacancies, please contact Christine Thompson (Sport Development Officer for Interschool)
