Junior Camp

The first EQ/IQ Junior Camp was a resounding success! We have received a lot of really positive feedback about the camp, and everyone is keen for this to become an annual event!

We were extremely lucky to secure some top level coaches for the weekend- Kim Durante for Show Horse, David Finch for Jumping, Rebel Morrow for Eventing and Paula Price for Dressage. The rider's certainly relished the opportunity to take as much as they could away from four such decorated coaches, trainers and competitors.

There were also several presentations over the course of the weekend, which parents and riders found really interesting and useful, including Damien Stewart from Room 23 Sports Psychology, Janine Dwyer from All Horses Veterinary Services and Liz Owens who is an equine nutrition expert.

Saturday evening saw the kids having some fun- thank you to Kingfisher Vaulters and Ella Springs Vaulting Club for coming along to our camp. Everyone was in awe of the vaulters who gave a demonstration, and couldn't wait to get into the arena and have a go!

We hope that this camp gives everyone a great start to the year and can't wait to see these young riders progress!

Here's some of the feedback we have received from the participants:

"Just wanted to say again what a wonderful weekend we had.  It was an extremely well organised event and the coaches were fantastic. I hope another weekend of this type can be run again during the year or at the beginning of next year. Thank you so very much!"

"This was our first Interschool camp and my daughter loved it. Please thank the rest of the team for an awesome, well-organised weekend."

"Definitely keen to come to the next one!"

"What a great time we had. Thank you to the organising committee and wonderful coaches. We met some lovely new people and loved the vaulting."

"It was a great little boot camp to kick start the year"
