STEP BEHIND THE SCENES AT BRISBANE CDI!

Ever wondered what really goes on behind the scenes at a major international equestrian event?

Students are invited to go behind the scenes at Brisbane CDI for a special school tour of the Queensland State Equestrian Centre (QSEC) - with opportunities to meet some of the people, athletes and horses who make the event happen!

This isn't your average school excursion. Students will get a unique glimpse into the world of international dressage and discover just how many different people and roles come together to deliver an event of this level.

WHAT'S ON THE TOUR?

>  Meet the Stars – Both Two-Legged & Four-Legged!
Meet and greet some of the top athletes competing at Brisbane CDI - and, of course, some of their equine partners! Hear about what it takes to prepare for competition and life behind the scenes with an elite dressage horse.

>  Meet the voice of Brisbane CDI
Head high above Indoor Arena one to visit Jason in his commentary studio and find out what it's like to be the voice of the event and sit behind the sound desk. See the arena from a completely different perspective and discover what happens behind the microphone.

>  Meet the Technical Delegate
Who makes sure an international equestrian event runs according to the rules? Meet the event's Technical Delegate (TD) and learn about this important role, from competition requirements and arena operations to horse and athlete welfare.

>  Explore QSEC
Take a quick tour with the QSEC Venue Manager and discover what goes into running one of Queensland's major equestrian venues. Students will get a glimpse of the facilities and some of the work that happens behind the scenes to prepare for a major event.

And then… enjoy the action!

After discovering what happens behind the scenes, students can experience Brisbane CDI from a whole new perspective and watch some of Australia's leading dressage combinations in action.

Whether you're horse mad, interested in sport and event management, curious about careers in the equestrian industry or simply keen to experience something different, this is a fantastic opportunity to see an international equestrian event from the inside out.

The FREE tours are only available on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th September, group numbers will be limited - first in best dressed!
