2026 Caboolture Sports Club SEQ IQ Regional Championships Event Wrap

The 2026 Caboolture Sports Club South East Queensland (SEQ) Interschool Queensland Regional Championships delivered an exciting and successful May long weekend of competition, bringing together riders, schools, supporters, and officials for a fantastic celebration of school equestrian sport.

Held from 2–4 May at the Queensland State Equestrian Centre, the event welcomed 173 riders and 214 horses representing 80 schools from across the region. Competitors showcased their talent and sportsmanship across the disciplines of Dressage, Show Horse, and Jumping. Due to the significant rain in the lead up to the event, unfortunately the Combined Training competition was cancelled.

Throughout the weekend, riders demonstrated determination, horsemanship, and school spirit, with many combinations achieving personal best performances while proudly representing their schools. From first-time regional competitors to experienced combinations, the SEQ regionals provided a supportive and encouraging environment for all participants.

The event would not have been possible without the generous support of naming rights sponsor the Caboolture Sports Club, whose continued support of grassroots sport and the equestrian community is greatly appreciated.

A sincere thank you is also extended to the Interschool Queensland SEQ Sub-Committee for their many months of hard work and dedication in organising the regionals. Their commitment behind the scenes played a vital role in delivering a successful and enjoyable event for all competitors.

Thank you also to all sponsors for their valued support of the SEQ regionals and Interschool Queensland. Their contributions help provide opportunities and memorable experiences for young riders across the state.

In addition, thank you to the parents, volunteers, officials, schools, supporters, trade exhibitors, and committee members whose time and dedication ensured the smooth running of the event.

The SEQ regionals once again highlighted the strong sense of community within Interschool Queensland, with schools, families, and supporters coming together to encourage and celebrate riders throughout the weekend.

Congratulations to all riders, placegetters, and champion award recipients on their achievements, and thank you to everyone who contributed to making the 2026 Caboolture Sports Club SEQ Interschool Queensland Regional Championships a memorable event.
