2026 North Coast (Wide Bay) Interschool Qld Regional Championships Event Wrap
The 2026 North Coast (Wide Bay) Interschool Queensland Regional Championships delivered three outstanding days of competition, camaraderie and unforgettable moments at the Queensland State Equestrian Centre.
Held from Friday 27 February to Sunday 1 March, the event welcomed an impressive 411 entries, with 170 riders and 270 horses competing across the four disciplines of Dressage, Show Horse, Jumping and Combined Training.
Across the weekend, riders showcased exceptional horsemanship, sportsmanship and dedication, proudly representing their schools and teams. From polished dressage tests to exciting jumping rounds, the Championships highlighted the depth of talent within the North Coast region and the strength of the Interschool Queensland community.
Congratulations to all riders, horses, schools and teams who participated and contributed to such a successful event.
A sincere thank you to the Interschool Queensland North Coast Sub-Committee for their commitment and organisation, along with our valued sponsors, dedicated volunteers, supportive families and the many individuals working behind the scenes. Events of this scale are only possible through the collective efforts of our incredible equestrian community.
