CHAMPIONS CROWNED - 2016 IQ State Championship Results

The 2016 Pryde’s EasiFeed Interschool Queensland State Championships wrapped in Toowoomba on Wednesday 29 June, after a stellar five day carnival.

Returning to the Toowoomba Show Grounds, the IQ State Championships continued to prove itself as a solid platform for young riders to hone their skill and grow through competition.

Across all four disciplines the Primary and Secondary teams showed a high level of talent, spurring the fond rivalry between the schools.

1st Place Dressage Teams:
Primary - All Saints Anglican School
Secondary - The Kooralbyn International School 

1st Place Showjumping Teams:
Primary - Toowoomba Anglican College & Prep School
Secondary - Fairholme College 

1st Place Showhorse Teams:
Primary -  Emmaus College
Secondary -  The Glennie School (Team 1) 

1st Place Showman Teams:
Primary - Toowoomba Anglican College & Prep School
Secondary - The Glennie School

Qualified riders will now compete at the 2016 National Interschool Championships, Sydney International Equestrian Centre (SIEC), Horsley Park NSW, from Monday 26 September to Friday 30 September.

Congratulations to all riders who competed at the Pryde’s EasiFeed IQ State Championships.  A generous thank you goes to the IQ Committee, event volunteers, spectators and everyone involved for another wonderful event.

The Interschool Queensland Championship season will continue with the Eventing and CT Championships on 23 and 24 July at the Burpengary Equestrian Centre.
