Entering Interschool Events
Classes for some Interschool events, particularly Regional and State Championships, fill up extremely quickly. Please ensure that you regularly check nominate for these events. The organising committee's also endeavour to post this information in the IQ facebook group.
Some general info when entering Interschool events ...............
The riders EA/EQ membership number is compulsory and looks like this: 4011157. You can join online HERE, renew online HERE or download the membership form HERE
The horses EA number looks like this 40017390 and is compulsory if competing "above the line" (elementary & above dressage, EvA95 and above eventing, 1.05m and above jumping) More information regarding this is available HERE. If you are competing in official dressage competitions or "above the line" classes, a bridle number is also required. You can apply for a bridle number HERE
The horses Interschool Reg No looks like this 5625 and is available from Christine at the Equestrian Queensland office on [email protected]. IQ numbers are compulsory for all IQ events. You can download the IQ Horse Registration form HERE
A PIC number looks like this QHLL1360 and is compulsory for all horse owners in Queensland and is available from https://www.daff.qld.gov.au/
You will also need to select your schools name from the drop down list. This list is up to date as of today, so if your school doesn't appear this means they may not have renewed their EQ affiliation. If this happens, please contact the EQ office on 3891 6611.
Please ensure you have all of this information when you nominate. It is currently taking the organising committee's and the EQ office staff a long time to look up all of this information to ensure you are able to compete and to sort out the draw! Your help with this will be greatly appreciated! If you are missing any information, please contact the EQ office- we will do everything we can to help you get your nominations in and to ensure you are able to compete!
