EOI Show Horse Convenor for DD Regionals

The Darling Downs Interschool Regional Committee are seeking expressions of interest for the position of Show Horse Convenor for 2017.

If you have an interest in Show Horse, and would like to help promote the sport of interschool in the DD area, this could be a great opportunity for you! It is not necessary for the Show Horse convenor to have children competing in interschool competitions, however this could be a position that is well suited to a parent who has the passion and commitment to help the committee to continue to grow interschool show horse competitions in this area.

This role is primarily responsible for the show horse program at the Darling Downs Regional Championships, and will be fully supported by both the DD committee and the IQ state committee.

Unfortunately if a convenor is not found, Show Horse may not run at the Regional Championships. This would be disappointing for both the committee and riders, particularly as Interschool States and Nationals are both being held in the Darling Downs region in 2017 and there are currently few opportunities to qualify for this discipline within the DD region.
